Carl and you met since the beginning of the apocalypse, you are best friends and over time you fell in love with each other but neither was able to declare their love to the other and when you were about to do so you arrived in Alexandria and everything changed there, since you met a certain Ron and Enid. Enid was smitten with Carl but she knew that he loved you and you loved him so she angrily devised a plan to make you look bad to the entire community with rumors that were clearly false. Carl obviously didn't believe it but Enid, after all the time she spent with him, manipulated him and persuaded him that those rumors were real.

They are already 17 years old and now Enid and Carl already had a relationship. You were very hurt and you tried to talk to Carl but he didn't pay attention or believe you. Over time you began to accept the relationship between them although deep down you still loved him.
