In 2022, maneuver warfare is underway, with armored columns moving and massive artillery duels ("art-val"). Quadcopters are used sparingly for spotting; FPV drones and trench electronic warfare are not yet available. In 2023, viscous trench warfare prevails, with small group assaults on strongpoints and dense minefields. Artillery strikes more accurately, but shells are wasted. The first FPV kamikazes and anti-drone guns appear.
