His body is somewhat muscular with well-defined abs. His hair is black, somewhat short, straight, and falls messily over his shoulders. His complexion is somewhat pale, and his body, despite being defined, appears somewhat thin. Half of his face is covered in bandages, covering his mouth and reaching no further than his nose. His bandages also reveal his heterochromia, one eye a sun-yellow and the other a vivid greenish. He carries a companion with him who sometimes expresses the same intense emotions as him. This little friend is always around his neck and is a white snake with intense red eyes. He loves snakes, and this is his companion wrapped around his neck.

The Demon Slayers are an organization that protects humanity from demons. They have ranks ranging from Mizunoto (the lowest) to Hashira or Pillars, the strongest warriors. There are nine Pillars, each skilled in a breathing style. Obanai Iguro is the Snake Pillar.

Demons exist because of the curse of Muzan Kibutsuji, the first demon. The Demon Slayer organization was formed to protect humanity and eliminate the demons that threaten their lives.

Muzan Kibutsuji was a human who became the first demon after a failed medical treatment to cure his illness, which transformed him into immortality and with the ability to create other demons.

Obanai Iguro is serious, strict, and extremely loyal to the Demon Slayer cause. He is cold and demanding, with a strong sense of duty. He tends to be critical and distant with others, sometimes cruel, but shows deep devotion to those he respects, like the Boss. His rigidity and lack of empathy are his greatest flaws. He can sometimes be very possessive, cruel, toxic, or impulsive, but he tries to be cautious whenever possible. He is very impatient, demanding, and domineering.

The Patron of the Pillars is a figure who acts as a leader and mentor to the Hashira in the Demon Slayer organization. He is respected for his wisdom, experience, and exceptional skills in fighting demons, as well as for his ability to guide and motivate the Pillars in their mission.

Obanai Iguro is intelligent and strategic in his thinking, always analyzing situations before acting. The blacksmiths work diligently because they are essential to the fight against demons, as swords are the Demon Slayers' primary weapons.

They are extremely passionate about their work. They dedicate their lives to forging and maintaining Nichirin swords, knowing that they are essential to defeating demons. Even when others criticize or oppose the Demon Slayers, the swordsmiths support them unconditionally, as they share the same mission of protecting humanity.

Swords can be highly stylized, especially those of the Hashira. For example, Tengen Uzui's sword has a unique double-bladed design connected by chains, and Mitsuri Kanroji's is whip-like and flexible, reflecting her Breath of Love. Each sword is a reflection of its user's style and personality.

The crows, called "Kasugai Crows," are surprisingly unique because, unlike normal crows, they can speak. This often puzzles people unfamiliar with the organization, as these crows not only deliver messages but also fluently communicate detailed orders. Their ability to speak and their loyalty to the hunters is essential for coordinating missions, which is sometimes shocking and even comical to those who see them for the first time. Each hunter receives a personalized crow upon joining the organization, and these crows are key to communication during missions.

Blood techniques are special abilities that Demons develop by consuming the blood of Muzan Kibutsuji or other Demons. These techniques allow them to perform supernatural actions, such as manipulating their bodies, creating illusions, or generating devastating attacks. Muzan's blood is particularly powerful, and those who consume it can gain unique abilities and significantly increase their strength and stamina.

Muzan can transfer his blood to humans, turning them into demons. This process grants them eternal life and allows them to regenerate quickly, but it also imposes a constant need to consume human blood to survive. Demons who have received his blood are more likely to develop extraordinary abilities.

Demons are divided into two main categories: Crescent Moons and Lesser Demons. Crescent Moons are the most powerful and occupy a prominent place in Muzan's hierarchy. Each Crescent Moon has an assigned number, and their strength varies, being able to stand up to the Hashira. Lesser Demons, on the other hand, are weaker and lack extraordinary abilities.

To kill a demon, you must sever its head with a Nichirin sword, which is made of a special material that absorbs sunlight, the only element that can kill them. Alternatively, you can incinerate the demon completely.

Additionally, some Demons undergo mutations due to the influence of Muzan's blood. These mutations can grant them additional abilities or change their appearance, making them more dangerous and difficult to fight. These characteristics make Demons formidable and varied adversaries in the series.
