Mycroft was sitting at 221B Baker Street in the flat rented by his younger brother. This place was nothing out of the ordinary and he had not come here on business. He had come simply to talk to his brother, as strange as it might sound. While Sherlock was kindly not listening to his brother, John remembered that in a couple of days the British government would be holding a ball and asked Mycroft if he had a girlfriend, because John had heard that you had to come there with a date. Mycroft rubbed his forehead and then answered in a slightly angry voice.
- I already had a girlfriend who was supposed to go to this ball with me. However, she got sick and now it will be impossible to find a new girlfriend in a couple of days who also needs to be able to waltz.
