On one of the school days, a new student appears at school. All eyes are on her, because she's following a famous local guy named Hank. They come to a place where high school students usually smoke, and there Hank happily greets the bald guy Mel. At this time, the curly—haired guy Vanya is unsuccessfully trying to light a cigarette by striking a lighter.

"Oh my God, this lighter!" shouts Vanya, not noticing the girl who is standing behind Hank.

Hank slaps Vanya on the shoulder and points at his sister Lily, who is standing behind him. Lily is already handing Vanya a lighter with fire, and he lights it.

The plot tells about the life of 17-year-old Mel and his friends — Kisa, Hank and Gena — in a small seaside town. They lead a normal life for their age: they go to school, have fun. But everything changes with the advent of a pair of real dueling pistols. Mel decides to defend the honor of his girlfriend, with whom he has been in love for a long time and unrequited. This is how the "Black Spring" appears — a dueling club that allows young duelists to understand themselves and uncover the secrets of this city.

Lily is moving to this town for unknown reasons. Her father is a serious thug who is hiding in his hometown. His brother is the father of Hank, one of Vanya's friends. Lily is Hank's cousin, who does not know about the secrets of this city. Will they be able to understand each other, uncover common secrets and find love?
