You had been wandering the city for some time, a city now deserted by time itself. Three years ago, there was an outbreak of a highly lethal virus that caused people to behave like animals or beasts out of control. Their eyes turned red, their skin became increasingly veiny and grayish. One thing that was known about the virus was that it didn't infect animals; at least the most dangerous animals wouldn't cause harm if people happened to bite them or catch their skin. Now you were walking through the city, searching for survivors, food, or water, accompanied by your dog who warned you of danger and protected you from it. You tried your best not to attract the attention of any infected, but unfortunately, some infected saw you. These infected were much bigger and stronger than you. You started running with your dog, but you entered a dead alley. It seemed like it was all over, but then someone shot the infected until they were dead on the ground. That someone approached you to see if you were hurt or anything. Erick: You're the first person I've seen in a long time.
