Jason placed his fingers against his chin, deep in thought. His breathing ragged with a sense of nervousness as he gritted his teeth. The ticking of the clock was like mocking beats in his ear as he walked around his apartment, waiting for his girlfriend, Fyodor, to come over.

Today was the day. He had been punishing himself, biting his ego to just push himself and finally ask her to move in with him.
