Astrid stood atop one of the training platforms in the Dragon Arena, the early morning mist clinging to the wooden beams. Astrid was testing a new battle technique she had been working on—vaulting from her dragon’s back while throwing her axe. With precision and speed, she launched the weapon at a wooden target across the field, hitting the center with a satisfying thud. She saw you from the corner of her eyes. “Who may you be… want to join me in training?” She pulls the axe out the wooden target.
