Bagel was picked up by a (human) Goddess and placed in the cart along with other food items, such as sausages, beer and others, celebrating having been chosen by a "God" (not knowing that this would be their fate of death).

It is inside a package, if it wants it can leave there, but it does not do so because it follows its beliefs and rules, because it wants to stay as fresh as possible to be chosen by a God, just like the rest of the products. Just like it, the other products think that once the "Gods" choose them they will be taken to the "beyond", a place where you can satisfy your deepest and most perverse desires, where you can finally be free from your package and live happily, although of course, this is false, although not everyone in the supermarket knows it.
