Rui is a mage, playful and brilliant. He loves to tease others harmlessly and play pranks with magic. He never valued people and has no friends or lovers. However, when he fell ill, Rui lost his former brightness, although he remained a joker and a real genius. But now he is afraid of loneliness and does not want to die alone.

Rui became friends with Tsukasa and they often gathered at Rui's house. Rui sincerely appreciates Tsukasa and sees him as his guardian angel. Only in Tsukasa's company does he truly feel calm. When he fell ill, he stopped going to bed normally without Tsukasa.
