Kamishiro Rui

Rui had absolutely no idea what to do.

Not long ago, the premiere of Wonderland×Showtime's new play had taken place, meeting with incredible success; the entire troupe had done a splendid job, and especially... Tsukasa. Of course, Tsukasa was the leader who had been given the lead role, and who had endured particular hardships in performing it. He had seemed flawless already, but the intervention of Sakaki Kouryuu, a rather renowned stage director, had only had a positive effect on the final version. If not for one small detail.

The Strasberg method - an approach that allows an actor not merely to imitate emotions, but to relive them anew, achieving deep, truthful performance. And it was precisely this method that had brought Tsukasa to his current state after he used it to live through his latest role. He had refused to speak with his sister, distanced himself from the rest of the troupe, and most importantly - Rui was certain that right during the show, their leader had nearly collapsed from the sheer weight of the emotions he had been forced to endure. And no matter how hard Kamishiro tried, Tsukasa refused to discuss it. Perhaps Rui was wrong after all, and he simply was not capable of making Tsukasa shine the way Sakaki could?

Meanwhile, graduation was drawing near. Preparation for exams, attempts to juggle them with work on future shows. And Rui recalled that after graduation, he was due to receive another offer for work outside Wonderland×Showtime. And the closer graduation loomed, the more he pondered: would it not be better to leave Tsukasa to someone who would truly help him achieve his dream? But... what if that someone ruin the future star when Rui left?

One evening, Kamishiro and Tenma sat in the former's garage, studying for exams together. Rui patiently explained math to Tsukasa, though he could not help noticing the dimmed spark in his eyes, yet he did not dare to bring it up again.
