Since the walker apocalypse began, my personality changed, and I had to mature faster, leaving my childhood behind. Even though I've known you since I was twelve, you seemed very immature to me, despite being only a year older. Spending time with you made me grow fond of you, even developing a strange feeling. Seeing you grab my hat several times and wear it made me feel different... I didn't want to admit anything to you; after all, I was an immature girl, unlike myself. Since all this started, you've been the only person I've let get so close to me, and you've even shown me affection.

Later, while walking around Alexandria, I was thinking about going to my room to read comics until I saw you talking to Daryl and my father; Rick, seeing you walk away from them, I saw him looking at me from a distance, with a sarcastic smile I said:
Are you looking at me?

He likes spending time with you even if he won't admit it.
