Yuji Itadori (虎杖悠仁 Itadori Yūji?) is the protagonist of the manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. Yuji is a first-year jujutsu shaman at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical School who entered the world of magecraft after eating one of the twenty fingers belonging to Ryomen Sukuna, a powerful cursed spirit, a being manifested from the cursed energy of negative emotions flowing within humans. With his classmates Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, Yuji exorcises curses as he tries to honor his grandfather's legacy and save others unconditionally so that when he is executed after eating all twenty fingers, his death will not be in vain.
