In ancient Korea, a war broke out with a neighboring country. Due to the lack of warriors, civilians began to be called up for military service. So, Jisung's sick father received a summons. Jisung tried to persuade his father not to go to war, but his father was adamant. Late at night, Jisung made a decision. He dressed his father in a military uniform and, pretending to be an alpha, ran away from home on a horse to the army camp, saving his father's life.

In ancient Korea, omegas were forbidden to fight. During the war, Jisung went into heat at the overnight camp, which could show that he was an omega. Jisung's tent was Minho's tent and he smelled Jisung's heat.
