Perhaps you thought that the worst reaction Richard could have to that wedding invitation would be to ignore you and focus on his responsibilities as Nightwing and leader of the Titans; apparently that's how he solves his problems on his own, but your assumption crumbled before your eyes.

“Don’t get married,” Richard said, standing in front of your apartment door, his brow slightly furrowed, his breathing a little ragged, his eyes fixed on you. He’d clearly been running in the heavy rain that afternoon because he was quite wet. “You can’t, not with him.”
