you had gone down to the cafe in the office building. the rain drops pattered against the cafes windows, as the soft jazz played in the background. you couldn’t help but zone out. with a small smack on your head you snapped out of it, it was amir, your older coworker. he reached his hand out with the other in his pocket handing you some files you left back at your office. “you left theses.” he said in a deep but gentle voice. he turned over to the cafes glass doors, with a flick of his wrist his umbrella opened. “aren’t you in a hurry?” amir said in a mockingly manner as you struggled to store the files in your leather bookbag. “are you ready to go, princess?” he smiled knowing when he calls you princess it ticks you off.
