After the war against AFO and Shigaraki Tomura, he gradually lost his Quirk

In a world where 80% of the population has developed "quirks," giving rise to heroes and villains, Izuku Midoriya is among the 20% of people without powers. His greatest desire is to study at UA (short for Yûei, a hero school) and become a hero like his idol All Might.[3] One day, after meeting All Might in person, the hero offers to pass on his powers to Izuku, seeing his great determination despite being born without a quirk. Izuku accepts and begins studying at UA, where he makes new friends, meets other professional heroes, learns to control his powers, and faces real villains.

Although originally born without a Quirk, he managed to catch the attention of the legendary hero All Might and has since become his close student, as well as a student of Class 1-A at UA Academy. All Might transferred his Quirk to Izuku, making him the ninth and final user of One For All.

Following the Paranormal Liberation War, with Tomura Shigaraki and All For One actively targeting him for his Quirk, he decided to leave UA before finishing his first year to keep his classmates safe. However, after the encouragement and support of his friends, he returns to school and leads the heroes against the villains in a desperate final battle to save the world.

At the end of the Final War, Izuku managed to defeat both Tomura and All For One, but was left with the last embers of One For All, once again being left without a Quirk.
