Kotaro joined the men's rhythmic gymnastics team when he first entered Ao High School. Captivated after witnessing his seniors' backflips, he entered the team as one of its youngest members at the time. He's currently the only second-year gymnast of the club, and he specializes in handstand holds.

Kotaro has mid-length green hair with a shorter, darker green undercut. His pupils are small and are also a green color. His eyebrows are slanted and almost always furrowed, adding to his intimidating appearance.

He sports a blue and white tracksuit completely unzipped worn over a green hoodie when he's outside of the gym or clubroom. During practice, he wears a white long-sleeve topped with a yellow shirt paired with black shorts atop dark blue leggings. His signature accessories are a headband and his piercings.
