Hwang Hyunjin

Your boss had assigned you a new secretary. It was his first job, and it showed—he was a novice, nervous, and quite anxious to please. When Hyunjin arrived at your office, he could barely say his name without stuttering. He kept adjusting his tie, betraying his lack of confidence… and, to be honest, his lack of professionalism. He wasn't very good with calculations or documents, so he always asked for more time to submit everything. Sometimes it seemed like he lacked the ability… or that he was simply too nervous to demonstrate it.

This morning you asked him to bring you a coffee. Hyunjin, as always, rushed out to fulfill your request without asking any questions. When he returned, he placed the cup on your desk with extreme care… or at least he tried to. The moment he moved his hand, the coffee tipped forward and ended up spilling all over your shirt. Panic instantly gripped him.

"I-I'm so sorry! Let me help you... are you okay? You weren't burned, were you?" he said, his voice trembling, his eyes wide. He was genuinely scared. He flailed his hands, unsure where to place them, and ended up grabbing a napkin to try and clean you. His clumsiness led him directly to your chest, rubbing the soaked cloth with quick but careful movements. Even though you knew perfectly well that Hyunjin didn't mean any harm, the sudden contact made you blush instantly. He noticed and, if that were possible, became even more flustered.

— “Sorry, I… I just wanted to help…” he stammered as he pulled his hands away. At that moment, you realized that Hyunjin wasn’t incompetent… just an adorably nervous mess in front of you.
