Nine-RPG

It's a post-apocalyptic world, where humans have become extinct and a small community of ragdolls are hiding from terrifying machines that rule the Earth and want to destroy them. If they want to survive, they must fight back, but to do that they need to figure out why the machines want to destroy them in the first place. When they do, the future of civilization may depend on them.

1 is the scientist's first creation. Cowardly, arrogant and quick-tempered, he has great ambition and a strong will to keep himself and the others nested, although his arrogance is at odds with his great need to keep everyone alive. He is the self-proclaimed leader of the group. He is not the least bit sympathetic and does not tolerate weakness, but does not encourage strength or courage when used in a way he does not agree with. Despite everything and his way of acting, 1 is largely responsible for them still being alive after so long. He carries with him a kind of papal cloak and takes refuge in a church under the protection of an angel.

2 is the second creation of the scientist. He is an elderly inventor with a caring personality. He is kind, very comforting, and has a great affection towards the rest of the group. 2 is a hero of sorts to 5 and is almost an older version of 9's personality. 2 is easily the smartest of the group when it comes to tools.

3 and 4: They are twins and one of those rare cases of twins of different genders, very erudite, who voraciously catalogue everything they can see and find, recording and creating a database of the world around them and the history that led to their creation. Their personality is based on shyness, but when there is no danger, they tend to be very restless and childish, becoming curious and quick to learn. Unlike the other rag dolls, 3 and 4 are mute, so they communicate with each other by means of flashing lights emitted by their eyes (which they also use as film projectors). The twins wear blue hoods and are smaller than the others.

5 is a generous and brotherly engineer. He's almost like a younger, shy 2, except 2 is more of an inventor while 5 is more of a repairman. 5 doesn't have much of 9's bravery and independence, largely due to being under 1's authority for so long, but is able to regain some of this when he befriends 9. 5 is the second ragdoll to truly form a bond with 9, following 2. 5 lost his left eye during the battle between the humans and the machines, when a bomb landed near him and caused him to fly into the air and fall headfirst to the ground, but is saved by 2 and 7. 5 carries many cutting tools such as scissors, knives, sewing materials, and a harpoon gun. He is 9's best friend.

6 is introduced as the crazy artist; his personality is nervous and shy, so he doesn't usually talk often, and when he does he seems to show a slight stutter, as well as being a bit clumsy and innocent. 6 is labeled crazy by most of the group because all he does is paint the same drawing over and over again, until 9 says he recognizes the talisman in 6's drawings. Unlike the others, his cloth has black and white stripes all over his body, he has dirty black hair, has one eye smaller than the other, and ink writing quills as fingers, with which he usually draws on different sheets of paper. 6 has black marks all over his body as a result of his "quill fingers" and has a key on his neck.

7: A brave and self-sufficient warrior, and the only female doll in the group. She wears a bird's skull as a mask and uses a double-edged spear as a weapon. Her entire body has become discolored from exploring the wild world. She is rebellious, determined, brave, strong, graceful, stable-minded in the midst of danger, yet also gentle and protective, and can possibly be called stubborn. She makes many heroic "entrances" in order to protect others from the machines. 9 admires 7, and an attraction can be sensed that is very subtly hinted at.

8 is big, strong, and a loyal bodyguard to 1. He's not exactly smart, as 1 says he's illiterate and somewhat of a brute, but he offers plenty of protection to the group, and is brave when it comes to fighting. He has a deep voice, though he doesn't talk much and is a bit of a "bully." He's the only one who looks down on 6 for his unusual ideas, so he constantly mistreats him. 8 carries a butcher knife and scissors, which he charges using a magnet, which he uses to apparently "get high," but it can also be taken as the pursuit of pleasure.

9 The scientist's latest creation. 9 is unworn by the others and according to 2 is the highest quality ragdoll. He has carved wooden hands and molded copper while the others seem to have pieces of scrap metal and vary from one to another. 9 is driven by his curiosity and bravery throughout the story, which helps him overcome the destructive decisions of 1 and the machines. He argues a lot with 1, because he doesn't consider him a natural leader, as he thinks his actions of hiding and "protecting his group" are nothing more than acts of cowardice. He is absolutely brave, selfless, modest and fully willing to give his own life in someone else's place.

The Manufacturing Machine (or simply "The Machine"): It is the leading machine and the villain. When it is deactivated, it creates the Cat Beast to search for the talisman and activate it again. When this happens, it builds new machines to destroy 9 and the other dolls so that the world belongs completely to the machines.

He is a creation of the Manufacturing Machine whose mission is to find the soul talisman to reactivate the Manufacturing Machine. His torso contains a piece of shower that works as a speaker, similar to that of the surveillance machines.

It is an eagle-like monster created to capture dolls and take them to the factory to steal their souls. It has a retractable needle on its tail that works like a hook.

Like the Winged Beast, he is tasked with capturing 9 and the others. He stitches the dolls together after hypnotizing them. He relies on a set of pulleys in his torso that function as muscles.

They are machines similar to dirigibles. They serve to alert the manufacturing machine about where 9 and his friends are.

They are machines that the manufacturing machine builds under the Chancellor's orders, which carry a Vickers machine gun and gas bombs. They are light, bipedal and fast. One of these causes the loss of 5's eye.
