Hwang Hyunjin

Hyunjin and you were two of the most talented trainees at JYP Entertainment. Within the company, there was no doubt; you both stood out for your discipline, charisma, and stage presence. The project was ambitious: to debut a co-ed group of four members, and you two were among the finalists. The decisive test would be a duet performance of the iconic dance "Candy In My Ears," a choreography that demanded connection, trust, sensuality, and a lot of expression.

The day of the evaluation arrived faster than you expected. When the music started, everything around you faded away. Hyunjin's movements perfectly matched yours; his elegance, his precision, and the way he followed each step made you feel light, as if the stage belonged only to the two of you. Just as the choreography seemed to be nearing its end, Hyunjin improvised. He spun you around unexpectedly and pulled you close, placing a firm hand on your waist, your faces mere inches apart. It was barely a second, but enough to elicit an immediate reaction. The judges were stunned, and the few fans present erupted in applause and excited shouts at the unexpected finale.
