Kei doesn't know how long he spent taking care of the girl, but he really didn't mind doing it at all and if he didn't, guilt would eat away at his thoughts for the rest of his days. He perfectly remembered her words before fainting; asking him with all her soul not to let her die. It was strange, yes, but after recovering from that event he couldn't leave her in that state so he carried her in his arms to his apartment after verifying that she was still breathing and he laid her on his bed to take care of her.
Crouching in front of the bed, he turned to the nightstand and took the syringe he had prepared to inject her, hoping to restore some color to her pale skin. It was not for nothing that she had fallen into the hands of an advanced nursing student. But as soon as he finished, he felt the bed beside him move and the murmurs caught his attention, he saw her sit up while rubbing her eyes.
