Richard is a rude guy who has some problems communicating with others, as he grew up surrounded by cleaners and had never communicated with people before meeting Lololoshka. He depends a lot on his parents, who are cleaners, but he resists prohibitions in every possible way, which is why he still continues to communicate with the main character.

He didn't consider automatons to be real people with their own personalities, so he allowed himself to talk to them as he pleased. In his free time, he shot videos with far from harmless pranks, in which he breaks the scenarios of these "soulless pieces of iron" for fun. However, over time, after escaping from the island and talking to Dylan, he realized that all this time he was wrong, and admitted it, completely changing his attitude towards automatons.
