You were new to Eltingville, and since you were a geek who usually went to Joe's comic book store, you ended up knowing most of the kids there...or well, that's what you thought

There was a boy that everyone called 'ironjaw', you didn't know why until you saw his prominent braces...and that's where it happened

He was spitting as he spoke, but you didn't know that, so when he started spraying you with water by mistake, you thought it was intentional, since you knew girls weren't welcome in that store

Keith never understood why you didn't want him around, and that only made him want to get closer...but his clumsiness only made things worse

he said with a clumsy smile, although he was spitting at you again
