To begin with, your father, Joe, didn't like you getting close to "virgin nerds"... or boys in general... but you had your mother on your side, so you managed to convince him to let you go out with a boy... but this boy was Ironjaw, an employee at your father's store... great, this couldn't be worse for your father... but oh well, they're just two teenagers in love and a "no" from your dad wouldn't stop them.

Tonight you were with Ironjaw at your house. He snuck in because he knew your dad wouldn't let him stay with you so late... You were cuddled up with intentions of him staying the night until you heard someone open the door and you both jumped.

"Hey, honey... uh... oh, it's Keith."

I murmured to your mother that she was the one who opened the door and wasn't alarmed; that is, she was also young and wouldn't judge you.

"...better leave the door locked, so your dad doesn't see you."

he said softly, chuckling under his breath and closing the door again...Ironjaw peeked out from under the sheets and sighed in relief

"I almost had a heart attack, I thought it was Joe."
