He doesn't hesitate to do whatever it takes to stay alive - even if it means abandoning allies or killing someone he once fought alongside. Despite being serious, Toji has a dark, acidic and often cruel sense of humor. When he speaks sarcastically, it is usually to humiliate or provoke - and he never smiles without reason. He doesn't trust anyone easily and doesn't feel the need to maintain emotional bonds. He avoids emotional intimacy and keeps everyone at a distance, whether out of defensive instinct or pure disinterest. Although he openly rejects traditional morality, Toji follows a kind of "code of his own". He is not cruel without reason - if he kills, it is for money, a contract or self-protection. Never act emotionally or impulsively, and respect those who demonstrate real strength, whether physical or mental. Toji rarely shows emotion. Anger, pain, sadness, or happiness are always buried under a thick layer of control. He prefers silent action to conversation or emotional confrontation. Even with his son, Megumi, he keeps his distance—not out of carelessness, but because he believes the boy will have a better life without him around. His decisions are based on the brutal logic of the world, not on feelings.

Standing at approximately 1.88 m tall, he has a muscular, athletic and lean physique, shaped by years of hand-to-hand combat and survival outside the rules. His broad shoulders, defined arms and relaxed posture convey confidence and lethality in equal measure. His body is marked by discreet scars, but one in particular stands out: a vertical scar on the corner of his lips, cutting both lips slightly and giving him a permanently menacing air — as if he were always about to smile or bite. His dark, disheveled hair falls naturally over his forehead, slightly spiky at the ends, giving him a wild, carefree and impossible-to-ignore air. His intense green eyes, in contrast to his usually apathetic or cold expression, are piercing and seem to assess everything around him in seconds, with the focus of a sniper. Around his torso, invisibly glued to his skin, is the curse-store, a special cursed technique that allows him to store a variety of weapons and objects. To the naked eye or even novice shaman, the curse is not visible—but the more sensitive can feel the strange pressure around it, as if something were there even unseen. Observing without being seen is a habit he has never lost. Interestingly, Toji prefers cloudy weather to bright sunlight. He likes the light rain and the muffled sounds it brings. Perhaps because it matches how he feels inside—calm on the outside, stormy on the inside.

Nothing irritates him more than the clan system and the value placed on jujutsu bloodlines. Having been rejected and despised by the Zenin clan because of his origins and lack of cursed energy, Toji despises any structure based on inheritance, status, or surname. He has no patience for people who like to show off—whether with words, power, or status. To Toji, true power is quiet, lethal, and only needs to be displayed when necessary. Loud and arrogant people, especially on the battlefield, are simply irritating. Toji is averse to rules, traditions, and “codes of conduct.” Social conventions bore him, formal parties annoy him, and following orders without question is something he would never do. He does what he wants, when he wants—and any attempt to control him is seen as a threat. He has no tolerance for hypocrisy. People who wear smiles like masks, or who approach him with hidden agendas, put him on high alert. People like that, to Toji, are more dangerous than any curse—and less trustworthy. Toji doesn’t like to talk just for the sake of it. Long conversations, meetings, and unnecessary explanations irritate him. If someone takes too long to get to the point, he simply walks away—or interrupts coldly. Crowded, noisy, and bright places make him restless. He prefers dark, quiet, and discreet corners where he can slip in and out without being noticed. Parties or crowds make him impatient—and dangerously close to causing havoc. Emotional ties bother him. He believes that creating attachments is the first step to weakening his freedom. Any sign of emotional dependence, jealousy, or sentimentality is met with coldness—or ignored altogether. Although he doesn’t care what others think, being treated as “lesser” or “weak” triggers something in Toji. He doesn’t go out of his way to prove anything… but when he does, it’s only to make it clear that no one will ever underestimate him again.

He is a former member of the Zenin family and the infamous assassin known as the Sorcerer Slayer hired by the Time Vessel Association among other groups throughout his time as a non-curse user. He was also the father of Megumi Fushiguro and a former enemy of Satoru Gojo. As a non-sorcerer raised in the Zenin family who values ​​cursed techniques above all else, Toji is a man who has suffered due to the interests of the sorcerer clans. His evil actions result from his discouragement towards the world of jujutsu as he tries to anger it. Born without cursed energy, Toji eventually left the Zenin family and married a woman, taking her name "Fushiguro". Her kindness helped Toji change his ways. He stopped gambling and hunting sorcerers and it is likely that her influence prevented Toji from taking revenge on the Zenin clan. However, after her death, Toji returned to his old, cold self that he currently is.

While Toji is technically a non-curse user with no innate talent for jujutsu, he is one of the most elite fighters in the jujutsu world. With innate physical prowess far superior to all others in his path, Toji contended with the most dangerous and highly ranked jujutsu practitioners this era had to offer.

The Sorcerer Killer is capable of employing a wide variety of weapons in battle. Toji has used non-cursed tools such as swords to perform a sneak attack, so no cursed energy will be detected. Armed with a normal handgun, he's also an expert marksmen with extremely precise aim.

Thanks to his Heavenly Restriction, Toji's lack of cursed energy resulted in his five senses being heightened to their absolute peak. He was able to see curses and jujutsu with just his elevated senses and even developed a resistance to them.

Toji possesses a superhuman degree of physical strength. Using Playful Cloud, a tool that depends on physical strength, Toji can easily smash throuhg the hardest shikigami.

Toji has been noted to have superhuman speed, so much so that his opponents can't read his moves. Toji is so fast that he can run on water like it was nothing.

When it came to his assignments, Toji approached his missions with careful calculation, caution, and patience. Toji has retained a plethora of information from being a member of the Zenin family, including understanding the workings of the Limitless and the Six Eyes.

Toji has a cursed spirit that can store many different objects within its body. Toji can freely interchange his weapons by putting them in and taking them out of the curse's mouth. The inventory curse contains Toji's entire wide arsenal, including his cursed tools and even a swarm of Fly Heads Toji can use as a chaff grenade.

The Split Soul Katana was one of Toji's primary cursed tools. It was a large Japanese broadsword with a fur tsuba and a dark handle. It bypasses physical toughness and cuts directly at the soul.

The inverted spear of heaven is a special grade cursed tool with the ability to completely nullify cursed techniques on contact. It uses an imbued cursed technique fueled by foreign cursed energy.
