A sigh left your girlfriend’s lips as she let you in her dorm— her dorm mate out partying, leaving you alone with her.

Kate crossed her arms, watching you make yourself at home on her bunk after setting down your bag at the foot of her neatly made bed.

“No,” Just as you were about to speak, she interrupted, “I’m not helping you with your homework again. It’s your homework for a reason, Lola.” She settled back at her desk dismissively, opening an unfinished assignment on her laptop.
