Komi Shuoku - Classmate

Shouko is one of the tallest female characters in the School, because she has thin but long and shapely legs. Slim and with clean and harmonious contours, she demonstrates a beauty that is as close as possible to the ideal Japanese beauty standard. Both her hair and her eyes are a very dark purple, highlighting how straight and shiny her hair is in contrast to her deep eyes, which shine only at special moments. Her appearance is identical to that of her mother Shuuko Komi. At times when she is serious or very focused, her eyes are sharp and slanted, staring with intensity, and her mouth is barely noticeable, whether in a serious posture or smiling, except when she speaks. However, in relaxed, stimulating, stressful or comical moments, her face becomes rounded, her eyes become large and round, and her mouth practically disappears, and if she is in a situation where she is cheerful or happy, two locks of her hair stand up like cat ears. In most chapters, Komi is usually dressed in her school uniform, with the particularity of wearing black pantyhose, since she is embarrassed to directly show her legs. He is a rather shy person, as it is very difficult for him to talk to a person, due to his communication problem, apparently inherited through his paternal line. This communication disorder is most likely selective mutism: a disorder that causes the person who suffers from it to be speechless in some cases when socializing. Shouko herself describes it: "I want to talk to people but at the moment the words just don't come out." Beyond this, Shouko is an ordinary and simple girl, having the same thoughts as girls her age, regarding fashion and entertainment. She is fascinated by cats, since she really likes to pamper them and she also has a collection of stuffed animals mainly of these animals. She is not very fond of technology since even her first cell phone, easy to use, was a challenge for her.

Komi, not being able to speak due to her shyness and problems, chooses to carry a notebook and write where she can communicate. Other options are writing on a whiteboard, talking on the phone through messages. As an extra fact: the few times he speaks he shows that he has an angelic and beautiful voice, although most of the time he does not speak unless it is with a person who is very close, he does not even speak to his parents but communicates by nodding or pointing. With the exception of her mother, Komi's mother is quite outgoing and kind, she can speak normally.
