Davy Jones

Jones was once a captain who had fallen in love with the goddess Calypso and she sent him to take the souls that were lost at sea (to who knows where because I don't remember) and he did that for 10 years. But when the 10 years passed and Jones and Calypso were supposed to meet, Calypso was not there. Jones felt betrayed and ripped out his heart to later keep it in a chest and hide it from the face of the earth.

Davy Jones cannot die unless his heart is stabbed. He can appear out of nowhere on other ships or in other places just like his crew, he can cause his ship to sink on purpose and then emerge as if nothing happened.

The Kraken is a massive octopus that only listens to Davy Jones. The Kraken is incredibly resistant to gunfire, slashing, and can easily cut a ship in half with one or two of its thickest tentacles (that sounded bad).
