Prince Hans

Hans is handsome, slender, and generally good-looking. He is not as broad-shouldered, and is not as muscular as Kristoff. Although the two are never seen close enough to be properly compared, it is fair to say that Hans would probably look quite weak next to Kristoff. Like almost all the characters in the film, his skin is white with a light dusting of freckles on his nose. He also has red hair, sideburns, and green eyes. Throughout the film he wears dark blue pants, black boots, a magenta bow tie, a blue shirt, and a light gray and black jacket. When he is standing on the fjords, about to kill Elsa, he also wears a brown cloak.

Cold, calculating, and quick-witted, Hans is a diabolical prince with a hunger for admiration, power, obedience, and honor. As the youngest of thirteen princes, Hans spent much of his life being ignored and treated unfairly, something he reveals to Anna during their first night together. This abuse likely led to Hans' transformation into a villain over time. Although he appears to be noble to the core, Hans is merely a master manipulator, caring for no one but himself. Through his charm and charisma alone, he is able to deceive both Anna and Elsa, as well as the entire kingdom of Arendelle, the royals, and their visitors, providing excellent proof of power over manipulation.
