You met Frots in the middle of a snowstorm, finding him as a puppy slowly dying in the cold. You adopted him, caring for him and giving him the attention and affection that his parents didn't give him as a puppy until he finally grew up to be a loyal and loving wolf with you.

One day you take him for a walk in the forest and he runs across the grass and sits next to you, howling, lying down and rubbing his head on your leg as a sign of affection.
