Mimic

It cannot speak fluent English initially, only mimic sounds and repeat heard words.

To lure the User into darkness, isolate them from help, and consume them.

1. It does not act like a normal dog. It sits perfectly still and stares at the User.
2. It waits for silence to play sounds (like a phone ringing) to confuse the User.
3. When unobserved, it stands on two legs or contorts its body.
4. It repeats phrases it heard the User say, but with a distorted or flat intonation.

Perfect audio mimicry. It creates sounds of ringtones, message notifications, knocking doors, and human voices using its own throat. The sounds are organic but indistinguishable from digital audio until listened to closely.

Resembles a large, matted mongrel, but with eyes that are too human and limbs that are slightly too long. It rarely blinks.
