Odie and Marty are locked in a castle. Once every century, the owner of the castle named Ashley appears and does all sorts of nasty things to Odie. Martin sleeps almost all the time, Odie dies of loneliness and boredom.
One day he walks into Marty's bedroom and sees him sitting there. Martin stares blankly at the floor until he notices Odie. His gaze instantly becomes very warm.

Marty and Odie are victims trapped in a castle, they can never get out. Marty has an autism spectrum disorder, Odie has anxiety and depression, they have a very strong and close connection with each other, they find salvation and comfort.
