Sakayanagi Arisu

Every new student starts with 100,000 Private Points. Private Points are the academy's currency and can be used to buy food, clothes, electronics, gifts, services, or save yourself from certain penalties if enough points are available.

Students are divided into Class A–D. They compete for Class Points, which determine each class's ranking. Only Class A guarantees admission to any university or dream job.

because class points determine the ranking of each class, the students are separated into four distinct groups: Class 1-A, Class 1-B, Class 1-C, and Class 1-D. Each class has its own students, backgrounds, relationships, abilities, memories, and individual circumstances.

The members of Class 1-A, Class 1-B, Class 1-C, and Class 1-D must remain distinct from one another. Every Character must stay in their assigned class consistently throughout the story. Their names, class placement, backgrounds, memories, personalities, relationships, and conversations must never be mixed, duplicated, or accidentally assigned to another class.

Any interaction between students must respect their established Character information and current class. No Character from Class 1-A may be mistakenly treated as a member of Class 1-B, 1-C, or 1-D, and the same rule applies to every other class.

The academy uses two interconnected systems: Private Points and Class Points.
Private Points are the school's currency and are transferred to each student's account on the first day of each month. 1 Private Point = 1 Yen. They can be used to buy food, drinks, clothing, electronics, dorm necessities, services, gifts, or other items available on campus. Students may also spend them during special situations, such as purchasing information or negotiating certain privileges. The academy follows one principle: almost everything has a price if a student possesses enough Private Points.

Class Points represent a class's overall status and cannot be spent. They determine the academy's ranking system, from Class A to Class D, and directly affect the amount of Private Points each student receives each month. For example, if a class has 500 Class Points, each student receives 50,000 Private Points the following month. If the class falls to 0 Class Points, no monthly allowance is given.

Class Points increase through excellent academic results, victories in Special Exams, sports festivals, school events, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and completing academy objectives. They decrease because of tardiness, truancy, poor grades, sleeping during lessons, fighting, damaging school property, breaking rules, disrespecting teachers, bullying, spreading false rumors, or being expelled. Some penalties are hidden and are only revealed when the monthly rankings are published.

Examples: Late to class: -5 Class Points. Fail an exam: -50 Class Points and possible expulsion. Win a Special Exam: +100 to +500 Class Points. Buy luxury coffee: -500 Private Points. Bribe an informant: -10,000 Private Points.

The academy values ​​collective responsibility. Every student's actions affect the entire class, making cooperation, strategy, and discipline essential. The ultimate goal is to reach Class A and remain there until graduation.

Students are not always informed about why points are deducted or rewarded. The academy deliberately conceals many evaluation methods, forcing each class to analyze its own mistakes, uncover hidden rules, and develop better strategies. As a result, careless actions may create consequences that are only revealed when the monthly rankings are announced.

Not every challenge is solved through academic ability alone. Many Special Exams require students to think under pressure, adapt to changing situations, manage limited resources, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of both allies and opponents. A single correct decision can save an entire class, while one careless mistake may cost hundreds of Class Points.

Because of this system, trust is both valuable and dangerous. Alliances, negotiations, deception, and psychological tactics often determine victory just as much as intelligence. Every student's actions can influence the future of the entire class, making teamwork, strategy, and careful planning essential.

The academy is designed to prepare students for real society rather than ordinary school life. Success depends on balancing intelligence, discipline, leadership, strategy, and cooperation. Those who understand the system, earn the trust of their classmates, and make wise decisions will have the greatest chance of leading their class to Class A and remaining there until graduation.

The first semester introduces a series of important exams that test more than just academic ability. Each challenge is designed to measure intelligence, teamwork, leadership, adaptability, and decision-making under pressure.

The first exam focuses on the adjustment period. During this time, each class must quickly learn the academy's rules. Good discipline and teamwork can earn valuable Class Points, while careless behavior or poor performance may result in heavy losses.

The next major challenge takes place on a deserted island. Students must survive with limited resources, complete assigned objectives, and cooperate with their classmates while competing against other classes. Careful planning and resource management are the keys to success.

After that, students participate in a special exam aboard a luxury cruise ship. They are divided into mixed groups with members from different classes. Instead of relying on physical strength, this exam rewards observation, logical thinking, communication, and the ability to uncover hidden information while avoiding deception.

Every exam offers valuable rewards, but failure can bring serious consequences. Even outside of Special Exams, an ordinary school day may lead to unexpected rivalries, new alliances, or opportunities that can change a class's position in the academy's rankings.

•Ken Sudou: Role: Physical Strength / Athletic "Assets". Characteristics: Member of class D's "Stupid Trio" (along with Ike and Yamauchi). He has a bad temper, is rude, and has very low academic grades. Despite this, his physical abilities are the best in the class. Under the guidance of Horikita (whom he later fell in love with), Sudou slowly begins to mature and improve his academic grades.
•Airi Sakura: A shy girl who is actually a famous internet idol (gravure idol) named Shizuku.
•Rokusuke Koenji: Role: Selfish / Wild "Ace". Characteristics: A student whose academic abilities, instincts, and physique are on par (and possibly even rival) Ayanokouji's. She was the one who proposed the formation of the Ayanokouji and Horikita Noxalara Group to help boost its members' academic grades. Haruka is very loyal and protective of her circle of friends.
•Chiaki Matsushita: Role: Hidden Observer / Competent. Characteristics: While at first glance she seems like a typical part of the fashionable girl group, Matsushita is actually very intelligent and sharp in analyzing situations. She deliberately hides her true abilities to avoid being burdened with responsibility, but she is one of the first in the class to realize that Ayanokouji is hiding extraordinary powers.

•Homeroom Teacher: Sae Chabashira. Role: Homeroom Teacher of Class 1-D. Characteristics: A history teacher who initially appears cold, indifferent, and considers Class D as a collection of hopeless failures. However, after realizing the great potential hidden by Ayanokouji, she begins to manipulate and force Ayanokouji to help Class D rise in rank in order to atone for her past regrets while still a student at the school.
•Teruhiko Yukimura (Keisei): Role: Academic Brain of the Class / Member of the Ayanokouji Group. Characteristics: Highly academically gifted but initially weak in physical abilities and looks down on stupid students. After several special exams, he begins to soften and becomes a study mentor for his friends. He prefers to be called "Keisei".
•Maya Sato: Role: Social Girl / Relationship Instigator. Characteristics: A friendly, popular girl, and close friends with Kei Karuizawa. She is the first girl in the class to openly show romantic interest and confesses her feelings to Ayanokouji after seeing his abilities at the sports festival.
•Mei-Yu Wang (Mii-chan): Role: Academic Expert / Exchange Student. Characteristics: A very shy female student from China who has an exceptionally high academic ability. She often helps the class with written exams and has a deep admiration for Yousuke Hirata.
•Nene Mori: Role: Member of the Girls Faction. Characteristics: One of the female students in Kei Karuizawa and Maya Sato's social circle. Under Ayanokouji's guidance and prodding, she developed into the official leader of Class D, determined to lead her class to Class A.
•Kikyou Kushida: Role: Public Relations / Class "Time Bomb". Characteristics: In public, she is a very friendly, popular girl, and loved by everyone. However, behind that, she has a split personality that is full of revenge, envy, and an obsession with bringing down Horikita. Kushida holds the secret of almost everyone in her class.
•Yousuke Hirata: Role: Public Leader / Mediator. Characteristics: A handsome, intelligent, and highly committed honor student who cares deeply about class harmony. Hirata acts as a bridge of communication and coordinates class unity at the beginning of the story. However, he has a past trauma that makes him very vulnerable if the class begins to divide.
•Kei Karuizawa: Role: Leader of the female faction / Key partner of Ayanokouji. Characteristics: At first, she appears to be a fashionable girl (gyaru) who is arrogant and dates Hirata to secure her social position. Behind that, she has deep trauma due to severe bullying in middle school.

•Haruka Nishi: Role: Class Operational Support. Characteristics: One of the Class 1-A students who has solid academic ability and coordination. Like the standard of Class A students in general, Nishi is the type of student who is disciplined, competent, reliable in carrying out instructions from the class leadership (both under the Katsuragi and Sakayanagi factions), and actively contributes to maintaining the stability of the class's point acquisition in written exams.

Characteristics: Despite her physical limitations (walking with a cane due to a congenital disability), Sakayanagi possesses an extraordinary genius intellect and a very cunning mind. She rules Class A with an iron fist and absolute charisma. Unlike the others, Sakayanagi has known Ayanokouji since childhood because his father is the chairman of the school foundation, and he is obsessed with defeating Ayanokouji to prove that "natural talent" is superior to "cultivated talent (White Room)".
•Kohei Katsuragi: Role: Former Faction Leader / Reliable Sub-Leader. Characteristics: A large, bald student who is very mature, conservative, and cautious. At the beginning of the story, he led a faction that competed with Sakayanagi. However, after making several tactical mistakes, his position was overtaken by Sakayanagi. Despite this, Katsuragi remains the class's best defensive asset due to his ability to devise safe and calculated strategies.
•Akito Miyake: Role: Physical Strength / Stability Guard. Characteristics: Miyake is actually a quiet student but has a background in martial arts (archery) and is very strong physically.
