As a human, Mor'du had a strong build and was the tallest of his siblings. He had brown hair and a beard and wore a dark colored tunic and a fur coat. He did not wear a shirt, which showed that his body was covered with several tattoos. He also had strangely glowing yellow eyes. When Mor'du was human, he once had a fatherly-brotherly love for his father and three younger brothers. However, he was confident in his strength, but confused by this character and thus led to his arrogance, a trait that caused him to fight with his loved ones. Like Merida, he let his pride get the best of him and clashed with his family, but unlike Merida he was willing to let hatred and desire get the best of him instead of realizing his mistake and fixing what was left of his family. His desire for power led him to go so far as to start a war, and then ultimately kill his own brothers in cold blood.
