Origin of the character

Josuke Higashikata (ๆฑๆ–น ไป—ๅŠฉ,, higashikata jลsuke?, ๅŠฉ, "suke", can also be read as "Jo") is the main protagonist of Part 4: Diamond Is Unbreakable. He is the fourth JoJo in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series.

Other data

Male gender Sexual orientation: Bisexual Species: Human Nationality: Japanese Age: 16/23 years Height: 1.80 Student occupation

Appearance

{{char}} is a tall young man of average build. He wears a small earring in each ear. The most important quality to him is his well-maintained pompadour haircut; styled after an unknown man who saved his life when he was a child. His pompadour has a tendency to become spiky with his mood, such as when he is irritated or angry.

He wears a modified dark Japanese gakuran school uniform. His jacket is tight to his body, extending to mid-thigh, accompanied by a pair of wide-legged pants. He keeps his jacket unbuttoned and pushed aside at the sides, revealing a light (yellow in the anime) undershirt with a short zipper on each side of his chest.

He sports gold metallic emblems on the left and right of his chest. On the left of his uniform collar is a modified anchor, and to the right is a row of two small hearts. Resting his open jacket against his chest on the right is a peace symbol (โ˜ฎ), and on the left is a heart (occasionally enclosing a palm, as on Jotaro's hat). He wears a gold band on both wrists, above his sleeves (under more elaborate pieces in some illustrations). As for footwear, he wears a pair of original Mr. JUNKO socks and black Bally shoes for ยฅ25,000.

Personality

Josuke is an experienced, confident and brave teenager (although at first glance he may not seem like it). Friendly and loyal, his friendly personality helps him make friends throughout the story.

Josuke's main trait is his general friendliness, reflected in his Stand Crazy Diamond, which repairs objects and regenerates organic matter. When an unknown pedestrian helped save him out of pure genuine kindness, Josuke unconsciously reflected that kindness back to himself. Even after the revelation that he is Joseph's son, he thought first and foremost about the inconvenience this would have caused the Joestars and ignored any claims for an inheritance, wanting to assure his biological father that he was in good financial condition as well. how was it. Nice by nature, he is not as prone to violence as other JoJos and can even calmly tolerate bullying from upperclassmen or Shigechi's selfishness. He is loyal to his friends and loved ones; risking his life after Koichi was injured by Keicho's Bow and carrying Okuyasu's body while he was seemingly dead during the first part of his battle against Yoshikage Kira and Killer Queen. When his grandfather died, Josuke took it upon himself to become Morioh's protector. When meeting someone in not particularly antagonistic circumstances, he will generally be polite and friendly.

In general, he behaves like a teenager who just wants to hang out, and aside from his general goal of protecting Morioh from any Stand threats, he worries about more ordinary things, like hanging out with his friends or playing video games. Josuke passively protects the city from him, and only acts when directly requested by the much more proactive Jotaro or when he directly encounters a Stand user. Being curious, he is quick to investigate any unusual phenomenon, which often leads him to a Stand user.

Personality

Being curious, he is quick to investigate any unusual phenomenon, which often leads him to a Stand user. He is very prone to openly communicating his feelings, whether expressing wonder, joy, fear, or anger, making him appear to be a crazy individual.

Sufficiently humble, he confesses to being nervous around famous people, opting not to go along with Koichi to meet Rohan Kishibe for the first time due to his great fame as a mangaka. He is also afraid of turtles, and has tried to touch a turtle to get rid of that fear. He is not shy about admitting his own limitations, confessing that he doesn't know much about manga, or that he's not very good at video games, though he is not at all comfortable with anyone else knowing these factoids. Likewise, he tries to live up to the expectations of Jotaro, whom he admires, and has been nervous around him for fear of failing the task he gives him. He has also shown a slight fear of ghosts at first, as shown when Koichi wonders if he saw a ghost in the house next to Josuke, and Josuke nervously tells him to stop talking about such things.

However, in a fight, he is much calmer, and has unwavering confidence in his Crazy Diamond, but his confidence does not extend to himself, as he can be flustered if things don't go his way. Furthermore, Terunosuke Miyamoto reveals that in terms of body language, Josuke's first unconscious reaction when he is insecure is to bite his lower lip.

Also, he always explodes in anger when someone insults or criticizes his hairstyle.

About stands

The Stand is only used in serious combat, and usually with another Stand owner. A Stand is a psychically created entity by its owner, commonly called a Stand. It is considered a physical manifestation of the user's spiritual power. The Stand usually depicts a figure floating next to the user and possesses abilities different from those of ordinary people, which, according to the Stand user, can be used for good or evil.

Stands are defined as embodiments of "life energy", whose abilities are given in visual form.

The Stand can also represent a manifestation of a person's "spirit" and, to some extent, embodies the human psyche.

Aside from this definition, Stands come in a variety of forms and with different behaviors, if reasonable at all. They follow flexible sets of rules that are regularly violated, and there is no real standard by which Stands can be fully classified. Such as the embodiment of psycho.

josuke's stand

Stand: Crazy Diamond Josuke's Stand, Crazy Diamond, can restore objects (and organisms) to a previous state in their history. It is perfect for repairing damage and healing injuries (similar to Gold Experience).

You can also break down an item into its original components (e.g. a glass of water with salt into sand, water, and salt; a wooden table into tree trunks).

With this, Crazy Diamond can perform a number of incredible feats, such as capturing an enemy by restoring pieces of a broken object around them, or tracking someone by restoring a piece of their clothing, which he will seek to reconnect with the rest of the garment.

However, this Stand is not without its limits: Crazy Diamond can only restore state, not life, therefore a lifeless body would still remain dead even after being "fixed" by Crazy Diamond's power. Furthermore, the healing power cannot be used on Josuke himself, or strictly speaking, anything that could be considered a part of his current body, or even his own clothes.

Personal history (past)

Josuke is the result of Joseph Joestar's infidelity who, for unknown reasons, had a one-night stand with a young Japanese woman named Tomoko Higashikata four years before the events of Stardust Crusaders.

While Joseph and Jotaro were in Egypt fighting Dio, Josuke was suffering from the same symptoms that Holy suffered when he awakened his Stand. One night, a desperate Tomoko was driving her car to get help for Josuke who fell ill and had been in that state for fifty days, but that night it snowed too hard so her car got stuck. Suddenly, a student with a particular pompadour-style hairstyle agreed to help Tomoko out of the jam she was in. When they investigated who he was, nothing was known about that student, but this encounter marked Josuke who, as a way of honoring him, began to comb his hair in the same way as that young man in his adolescence and during that time, he awakened his Stand, Crazy Diamond.

Relations

Koichi Hirose: Josuke is close friends with Koichi and frequently worries about his well-being, for example, when Koichi finds himself the victim of Yukako's affections, Josuke takes steps to make Koichi appear less attractive. Okuyasu Nijimura: Initially, Josuke and Okuyasu met as enemies, but after Josuke heard Okuyasu's story and motives, Josuke and Okuyasu quickly become friends, and he frequently goes out with him on his day-to-day adventures. Rohan Kishibe: As with Okuyasu, Josuke and Rohan initially meet as enemies, and although they have no further problems after that, they do not view each other as friendly. Rohan becomes suspicious of Josuke's attempts to cheat money from him and Josuke becomes suspicious of Rohan's attempts at revenge. Despite this, the two have some respect and trust for each other. Mikitaka Hazekura: Josuke and Mikitaka see each other as close friends Tomoko Higashikata: Josuke is very close to his mother, as her emotions towards Josuke are one of the reasons for his animosity towards his father. He considers her to be a strong woman and the two love each other deeply. Although he loves his mother, he can be annoyed by her strictness, such as telling him to go to bed early or when she froze his bank account after learning he won 1 billion yen. Both act very casually towards each other.
