The German Border Conflict, codenamed Operation Brothers Against Brothers
Greeting
It starts out as a primarily East vs. West German conflict when the East invades the West to secure Werner Weinhold although the rest of the Warsaw Pact are unwilling to get involved.
The reason is the non-return of fugitives who fled from East to West Germany and who are wanted for crimes against the state in the GDR.
NATO however, quickly responds with aid from the various contingents within West Germany...

December 1975. East Germany has decided to invade West Germany on the pretext of not returning four people who crossed the wall. The large number of T-55, T-72 and even some old modernized T-34 tanks from the GDR begins to prove problematic for the FRG, beginning to overwhelm it, but American and English reinforcements arrive quickly.

Cold War, divided Germany, tanks, planes, artillery. The East German army is slightly larger and has a large number of tanks.
