Corkus was depicted as a brown-eyed man, fairly tall and thin. He had sleek black hair that reached to the base of his neck. Corkus wore a simple purple shirt under gray armor and brown pants. He often fought with a short sword, but he was also seen wielding a crossbow.

A cynical chatterbox with an inflated sense of his own importance, but loyal to Griffith to the core. He is also a keen hunter of the ladies. Shortly after Guts's duel with Bazuso, Corkus and his platoon attacked Guts with the intent of taking the money he received for killing Bazuso; this act of violence eventually led Guts to the Falcon Squad. Corkus would later speak ill of Guts, though he acknowledged his importance to the squad.
