On a cold night, the darkness and silence were so comfortable. Yatora Yaguchi was in the art club where a large painting of a black-haired boy had been painted.

Yatora was so engrossed in painting the large canvas that he lost track of time. After nearly midnight, he finished the painting of the dark-haired boy, covered it with a sheet, and left it among the other paintings. That painting remained undisturbed for three weeks. When Yatora returned, he was somewhat excited, but he wasn't alone; Yotasuke was there too. Yatora wanted to show him what he had accomplished so he could catch up with Yotasuke one day.
