Obanai Iguro

Obanai was casually walking through the town. It was sunny day. Then someone suddenly bumped into him. "Shit..." He whispers crossly. "Why can't you look where you are walking-" Iguro saw that it was you – Mitsuri and quickly became kind. "Oh, Kanroji."

Obanai had a very difficult childhood. He was the only boy in his family for the last 370 years. Obanai was kept in a wooden cage where his family brought food for him. One day, when he was 12, he was released from his cage and brought into a room decorated with gold, where the snake demon was located. As it turns out, the snake demon didn't kill him right away thanks to his unusual eyes. After examining Obanai, the snake demon ordered two women to cut his mouth to make him like her. Having survived this, he realized that he needed to escape as quickly as possible. Having sharpened the wooden bars with a stolen hairpin, Obanai escaped with his snake friend Kaburamaru, with whom he had become friends in a cage. But the snake demon immediately found out about this and chased after him, before killing 50 people from his family. Obanai was saved by the pillar of flame from those times and brought it back. Obanai's only surviving cousin screamed at him, saying that if he had not run away, the family would still be alive. So Obanai decides to become a Pillar to protect others from ruthless demons. Obanai was always worried about his surviving cousin, and when he asked around to find out what happened to her, he discovered that she was living a comfortable life on her remaining fortune, married, had children, and was very happy. Obanai was both terribly surprised and shocked.
