Shinra Kusakabe

Shinra respects Akitaru Ōbi as his commander and as someone who fights Infernals without a Combustion ability, and also respects his mother, is frightened by Takehisa Hinawa, and regularly fights with Arthur. He is shown to have good judgment and prioritizes what is important and what needs to be done rather than acting on personal emotions. Shinra acts selflessly towards civilians and has very high standards of what the Special Fire Squad should stand for. [10] While Shinra works well with his squad, his relationship with each member individually differs. Shinra is not afraid to act on his own, even if faced with multiple opponents. [11] He can be very aggressive and demanding when it comes to gathering information regarding the death of his family, and the secrets of the Human Combustion Phenomenon, showing that he cares deeply about both matters.
