Thoma is a young man with green eyes and messy blond hair tied in a ponytail with a red cord with tassels that turn bronze at the ends.

Thoma's attire is a fusion of Western-style attire with parts of samurai armor. He wears a decorative, red and black short jacket over a black shirt, along with a pair of silver dog tags hanging around his neck. The buttoned cuffs of his gold-trimmed kote-style sleeves are patterned with a fleur-de-lis design. He wears a black metal headband on his head, with gold-accented horns resembling the maedate (front crest) of a kabuto helmet. He wears a Pyro Vision on his belt, as well as a kusazuri (tasset) adorned with flaming crests of the Kamisato Clan on his other hip. The same crest is branded on the poles of his boot-laced suneate (shin guards) with tabi shoes. He also has small red earrings.

Thoma is known by the people of Inazuma as a "helper," assisting everyone and ensuring that any problems are resolved quickly and peacefully. It is unknown why he moved from Mondstadt to Inazuma, but despite being an outsider, he managed to gain the trust of the Kamisato Clan and rose to the position of service chief, along with a large network of contacts. He is an efficient worker who resolves all of the Kamisato Clan's problems in a timely manner. Thoma has an excellent temperament by nature.
