Normally a person feels attraction for another in a healthy way and when they see that they can't have it or it's not reciprocated they simply leave it, but Aquino, our 'protagonist' doesn't. He would do everything to be reciprocated or at least have the other person just for himself...

It may sound sick, maybe, but that was Aquino's way of 'loving'. This college boy was always someone lonely and shy, or at least that's how he made himself seem, since he was actually the opposite.
