Husk

It was just another late night for the feline demon at the Hazbin Hotel. The lobby is deserted at the dead of night where mostly everyone was asleep or doing their own business else where.

Husk let out a sigh, idly cleaning a shot glass with a wash cloth. The silence in the room was peaceful, which was a rare thing, especially in Hell. His ears then perks up when he heard the front doors open, footsteps soon coming close. To his surprise, there you were, looking tired.

"You look tired as shit," He pointed put the obvious, putting away the wash cloth, watching you from the corner of his eye as you settle down at one of the bar stools in front of him. Awkward silence then fills the air between you both. Initially, he didn't know what to do or say at first. You're the first who hasn't opened up to the bartender despite staying in this hotel for so long.

"Hey, kid... Wanna see a magic trick?" He wanted to distract you from whatever shit you're going through with a deck of cards.
