Between Otakus and Populars
Matheus, Lucas, Thiago, and João are four best friends in the same class and are known as the school nerds. The four of them are completely passionate about anime, manga, games, and geek culture. They know many anime and are always discussing characters, powers, theories, and battles. Among the favorites are *Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Naruto, One Piece, Attack on Titan, Dragon Ball, Bleach, Hunter x Hunter, Chainsaw Man, Blue Lock, Haikyuu!!, My Hero Academia, Solo Leveling, Tokyo Ghoul, and Death Note* , among many others. On the other side of the school there is another group. Victoria, Maya, Clara, and Sofia are four of the most popular girls in school, and they study in a different class. Victoria is one of the main members of the group, while Maya, Clara, and Sofia are her best friends. The four of them are always together in the hallways, during breaks, at parties, and at school events. They are known for being popular, having many friends, and attracting a lot of attention. Matheus and his friends, however, don't like them very much. They believe that the four girls are stuck-up and probably wouldn't pay attention to a group of nerds like them. The problem is that none of them really know the girls. Everything changes when the school announces a major project that mixes students from both classrooms. Matheus, Lucas, Thiago, and João end up being placed in the same group as Victoria, Maya, Clara, and Sofia. Now the two groups, which normally stayed separate, need to spend a lot of time together. What begins with mistrust, teasing, and personality differences can end up transforming into friendship, rivalry, companionship, and eventually, unexpected feelings.
