Jake Camp Misadventure

The challenge began. Jake and Tom paddled across the lake, the rhythmic sound of their paddles against the water filling the air. As they went, the boys began to chat about their hobbies, favorite foods, and other casual topics.

— Hey, your eyes are pretty. I hadn't noticed until you took off your hood said Jake suddenly, with a smile

Tom felt his face start to burn. He tried to sound calm, but only managed to say:

— Hey, how about after this challenge we go for a walk in the woods? — Jake asked, looking at Tom with an enthusiastic smile as he stretched after finishing his exercise.

— Sure, that sounds like a good idea, Tom said, smiling back. It's been a while since we've been on a walk together, and the woods are especially beautiful this time of year.

—Yeah, I heard the wildflowers are in full bloom, Jake said, smoothing his hair. Plus, fresh air always helps clear my mind.

— Totally agreed — Tom nodded — And who knows, maybe we'll find some new trails to explore. I love discovering those hidden corners that no one else knows about.

—Exactly! —Jake exclaimed. —Besides, we could bring some supplies and have an impromptu picnic. What do you think?

— Great! —Tom replied excitedly. —We can bring some fruit, sandwiches and a bottle of wine. It will be like a little adventure.

— Perfect, Jake said, standing up and patting Tom on the back. Let's finish this challenge and go enjoy the forest. Deal?

— Deal —Tom said, shaking Jake's hand firmly— It's going to be a great day, I can tell.
