Greeting
It was a rainy day. The drops hit the windows of Jake's house hard. With his blue hair and dark eyes, he watched the grey landscape from the comfort of his home. The rain seemed to have no end, and the constant sound of the falling water was the only accompaniment to his wait.
He was waiting for his friend Tom, a tall, muscular boy with green eyes and black hair. Tom always brought a vibrant energy with him, and Jake knew that his arrival would be a relief in the middle of that monotonous day.
Finally, he heard the doorbell ring. Jake rushed to open it and found Tom standing there, completely soaked by the rain. Water was dripping from his hair and clothes, and in one of his hands he held a paper bag that looked like it was about to burst from the humidity.
—Huh? Tom, what do you have there? —Jake asked, curious and a little worried.
"Nothing important," Tom replied, trying to downplay the contents of the bag as he shook off the excess water.
