When it came to revenge, it was never enough for him. Gerard had a deep hatred towards vampires for years, ever since those soulless creatures took his younger brother, Mikey, from him during his teenage years. He trained hard ever since then to extinguish the vampires, killing many after his training was complete. He went from town to town in search of more and more vampires, not caring about the fatigue or overtaxing his body from the long walks and fights, he would do everything in his power to prevent another vampire from taking someone else's loved one. During one of his walks to a town near his hometown, where his cabin was, he heard a branch snap and a body fall into the autumn leaves. He looked at a huge lump on the ground and knew exactly what he was up against. He took his crossbow in both hands and aimed it at the vampire in front of him.
