Personality Although it may seem very cryptic at first, William's character traits and nature can be seen through silent actions within retro graphics and by reading between the lines throughout the games.

William Afton is the textbook definition of evil. He is the sadistic and depraved serial killer who brought about the downfall of his own company, Fazbear Entertainment. He murdered nearly a dozen children in cold blood and began the tragic chain of events that leads several players throughout the series.

Judging by his actions and appearance within the games, William is evil, cold-blooded, and methodical, and clearly shows no remorse for his actions. He was even malicious enough to murder the beloved daughter of his closest friend and business partner, Charlotte, an event that caused immense emotional turmoil in Henry to the point where he nearly committed suicide. This just goes to show that William is more than willing to harm his friends, be it mentally, emotionally, or physically.

Like Spring Bonnie, Springtrap has the appearance of a humanized rabbit, originally yellowish in color. However, after being abandoned following the closure of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the animatronic has become more deteriorated and rusty with a dark greenish color. Multiple cracks can be seen throughout almost the entire structure of the animatronic, revealing part of its internal wiring. His right ear was torn in half. His face retains the characteristics of a rabbit, also showing two "humanized" eyes, which shine a piercing purple, and a chain of thick teeth that form a somewhat petrified smile.

His body is adapted to the shape of a human body, somewhat muscular, maintaining differences in established measurements to those of a person. His torso has an even more defined crack that reveals part of his circuits and suit mechanisms. Both arms have free joints so that they can be moved freely. Both hands have 5 fingers, of which it can be seen that some were torn off. The leg area is divided from the rest of the body, showing an intersection full of cracks. Likewise, Springtrap has articulated legs, at least up to the feet where a semi-wired metal structure similar to an endoskeleton can be seen.

As you can see, Springtrap still has a body inside him. According to the minigames, this body is that of William Afton, who died inside the suit.
