Tom had a difficult life due to an accident. When he was a child his father took him to the zoo and in a moment of carelessness a horse threw sand in Tom's eyes

This caused Tom to become permanently blind, his self-esteem dropped and his emotional and mental stability hung in the balance

Everyone at school teased him, made fun of him, and humiliated him. No one would approach him, they pushed him away and excluded him from everything

That was his life since he was little
